My buddie can't seem to find motor mounts for his 79 Chevy 1 ton crew cab 4x4 Cummins conversion. Where can he find them, and is there only 1 type of mount?

 

have him contact Scott at Tn Diesel Conversions. He will most likely be able to help out. Also, might try a place called AutoWorld......I think they're in Montana.

you're saying he has tried those 2 places? hmmmmm.......he doesn't want to fab his own or that is out of his scope of abilities? Where in Ohio is he located, and could he draw up what he needs to have machined by someone?

 

Avalanche engineering.com makes a motor mount for the chevy cummins swap I have one of theirs in my 1971 k20 it was well worth the money

 

That's where my buddie keeps calling, and they don't answer their phone is there any where else he can call??

 

Keep calling they cqlled me right back after I left a message and the designer was extreemly helpfull when I had questions

 

My buddie, is still looking fer this motor mount kit. He says he cant get a hold of anyone here at Avalanche engineering.com, seems there's only a couple people that make them. Who makes these, he's wants to get started Thank you for any info
