i have a 01 chevy with a 8.1l an it has the electric throttle body with the electric gas pedal. my question is does a pedal from a 6.0 chevy with the cable throttle body, fit in the same place as the 8.1l pedal. also does any one know if the radiators are diff from the damx one an the 8.1l. if i dont have to change the rad. with it hold up with the cummins 12v. thanks

 

yes it will that is what I did in my 96 bolted right up and used the gm gas motor cable...

If you make a oil pickup that could work if all the bolt holes are the same.

 

can anyone give me info on putting a 24v out of a 99 i can get the hole truck but i need to know how hard it would be to do the swap with the 24v thanks.

 

Its the same but you got to swap the wiring harness and ecu.I would keep that as a back up a 12 valve is a lot simpler to do.
