Default Fabricating the grill for the intercooler

I reconstructed the grill so I could get the intercooler in and make it so I could keep the factory hood latch.

I'll take some pictures of mine. I'm using the factory I/C and rad up front just like the stock dodge.

I used to have a '91 crewcab that style and did a 2" body lift. No issues with steering, clutch, or shifters other than a small notch for the NP205 shifter. I did toss the shroud. More room for tires and working on the truck. Would definitely do it again.

FWIW, the Cummins likely does not need the monster 36" wide radiator. The 6.2/6.5 diesel are IDI - unlike the Cummins - and need the huge capacity to keep the heads cool.

Ran into a problem! The down pipe hits the cab. Is there an aftermarket part available that would take the 45 degree turn to a 90 degree turn coming out of the turbo?

A welder and a chop saw to cut angles works pretty good

Oh, I was saving that option for last. I might have to get in touch with you for advice if I go that route. Thanks!

What year is your turbo?

Take the 45* outlet off, and use a short flange, and a 1st-gen downpipe.
(roll your own, find a stock one, or get aftermarket one from BD Power)
