Default 78 Camaro and 6b

I am starting to look at the possibilities of swapping a 6b into my car. I know there are several things to be overcome but im really wanting to make this happen and just looking for some imput before I do anything. I know weight is one thing. However I think this is last on the list. The first thing im really concerned about is my trans. Im wanting to use my th350 and the 10bolt rear for now. I have no direct experience with a diesel and a non lock up converter and especially a 3speed one at that. The trans is built but I need to call my trans guy for an exact list. I know there are some hardened parts including hardend 400 sprag and input I believe with a full manual valvebody. I honestly cant remember. I am also at a loss as to what size stall and gear im looking at. I know the car will have to be re-geared (again) as it has 4.56 in it now and that dog wont hunt. The rear is still a 28 spline 10bolt with stock axles and minispooled. The rear honestly isnt that big an issue as we have some spare parts laying around from our circle track cars. Ill have to actually get off my a@@ and tie the frame together like I should have and meant to do a long time ago and it never got done.

Sorry for the long rant im just wanting some opinions and steering words of advice from people with any experience with anything in my setup. Like I said I dont know how the th350 with what ever stall would be right and how it will react together or even if it will allow that much low end torque curve and such. Anything would be greatly appreciated.
