95 6.5T swapped into an 80's gasser

I was just noticed that engine wont have a place for the mechanical fuel pump and the truck should have a electric one on it. Another thing is if you are planing to run the factory injection pump you will need some of the electronics off the suburban unless you go to a db2 pump. Just thought I would throw that out there before you got to far down the road if you didn't already know.

I already planned on dumbing down the inj. pump. I don't like electronic stuff for the most part so any time I can remove them I'm happy.
Where would the electronic pump be on the burban? I looked for one but didn't see it and assumed it was in the tank. If it is something I can pull off and re-use I'm all for that.

very easy swap..if you have the hydoboost and pump from the truck you got the engine from you can use it..and switching to the mechanical i/p (if it not done already) is best as far as i am concerned, just use a electric l/p down near the tank for best results connected to the pink wire from your old hei unit.. you would be well ahead installing a manual switch and relay for your glow plugs of which you want to use the 60g's.. what transmission are you planning to use..i have done several if these swaps into alot of different vehicles if you need any help let me know...R.C.
