Complete motor including harnesses and all computers, new tranny, tcase, driveshafts, rear end, gauge cluster, hydro boost brake master cylinder setup, fuel lines, fuel basket will have to be swicted out in the tank along with fuel pump and a couple other odds and ends... Wont be emission comliant since its a gas vin with a diesel in it... Sell it and buy one

I have both a Hemi and a cummins and just looking under the hoods of each there I would have to think everything would need to be changed out due to the size of the cummins.
Battery location, air to air, radiator, battery locations, and I'm not sure but it seems like the fire wall is stamped different for the cummins. NOT SURE THOUGH.

The pictures may show the difference but the size comparison is night and day. You can fit 2 hemis under the hood and the cummins is wrapped pretty tight.

Getting the motor in isn't the big deal, The wiring is the big deal. I've done this swap on a 2000 ram, the motor was in in a weekend, but it took myself and a dodge tech to figure out all the wiring schematics about a month and a half. The swap in total cost me about $6000. Now that all the bugs are worked out it's a great truck, but do your homework and be prepared to tough it out. Good luck

I can't truthfuly answer that, the 12v came in a different body style and I'm not sure if there's a difference in the mounts from 12v to the 24v or CR. I don't know where you live but you're stepping into emission problems going that far back to a 12v. Technically (and someone correct me if i'm wrong) I think you can transplant the same year or newer and still be politicaly correct. I don't have any room to preach here because I put a 95' 12-v in a 2000, but I know who inspects my truck, plus we don't have emissions at this time. But hey, like I said do some research and this is the right place to get info. Good Luck

I can't honestly answer that, I'm not sure if the mounts are the same from the 12v to the 24v or CR.As far as trans. goes if you have the nv 5600 already (and I don't know what you have) this will work but you will have to change the input shaft, which depending on how many miles you have could be a 20 minute job, or you may need to ad shims behind it to eliminate end play. I don't think the auto will work,I'm not 100% sure but I've read discussions that if it's behind the v-10 then it will but i'm not sure exactly what has to be modified.

I'm just spitballing here but I have a 2013 dodge 1500 4x4 with the 5.7 hemi, could I possible swap it with a 5.0 cummins like what's in the new Titans? I'd imagine the transmission will have to be swapped but I'm wondering how tough of a fit it would actually be?
