Wasn't there somebody on here who installed an OM617 in a YJ Wrangler, mating it with the AX15 and offered to build kits ?

As far as my information goes, the AX15 is used in some Toyota trucks so that can be of some help.

I could really appreciate another company that made a 60 mpg practical diesel Hybrid car, Or maybe a awesome diesel powered offroad SUV. I guarantee you that when we start getting less opec oil and have to produce more of our own, fuel prices will go up and we will have to start making more efficient vehicles.

there is also the option of a VW Diesel the company below offers a kit for samuri's but has the adapter for toyota transmissions which some people put in there Samuri's. VW diesels can be found anywhere and wiegh 300 lbs, and put out a lot of power for there displacement.

I agree with you about 115%

Jeep-dsl is the one selling the real nice adapter kit to mate the AX-15 to the OM617 and Hulkgreen was trying to but don't know if he made some to sell or not.
