The only way I think it would be cool is on a 4x4 frame, and I hate to see someone destroy a classic car............. but since it's a basket case. I don't see anything cool about a 2wd diesel Charger, but it's your car so do what makes you happy.

Ohhh that makes me sick to my stomach. Not the general part but the other.

Make it like a sleeper. Make it to where it looks like stock, except with a Cummins under the hood. Build it up to about 5-700hp, and go tear up the track and streets

building the daylights out of the cummins was my plan the engine in my truck now is in dire need of a rebuild so i was going to swap the performance parts out of the truck engine into the extra and put it in the truck and i would still have a spare engine sitting around that i could build to put in the car. i do still have the dually rearend but i swapped it into the truck i have now bc it had 3.50 gears versus the 4.10 in the truck when i got it so the 4.10 would be great on the track but not on the street to well. ok now anybody got an idea on the weight of the NV4500?

thanks for all the weights but no one has said anything about the one thing i cant seem to find. is there any way to use the stock crank sensor and hook it to an aftermarket tach or will i have to use an inductive pickup setup, and if so does any one know of a company such as autometer that sells one?

wow, the torque alone would tear the car apart. and if you are dead set on it, try a 4bt, much lighter and can still get awesome hp and tq numbers out of it
