Default clutch

Got a question, obviously, converting to a 6bt in my f100, will NEVER be towing or hauling anything, driver use only. Will be turning it up on power and torque. How much clutch do I need? Will the stock clutch hold up with more power and torque as long as I don't weigh it down? Using a first gen IC 12v with a getrag 360.

I would get a south bend thats rated for more power than stock. A stock clutch will last but a aftermarket clutch will last even better. Like a south bend con ofe rated for 375 and 800

SBC has a Dyna max clutch kit, Mu 0090 that I think will hold up for what I'm talking, is that similar to what you are recommending also?

i wouldnt go with a stock, but thats just me... if u ever decide to get more power out of it, u got more clutch go with it and it wont be as likely to slip as it would with a stock....
