both trucks will be rather unique still.. not many people with the time, skills, money, motivation for such a project.

 

Project may take an interesting side track.. I need to go auto to stick, gas to diesel, etc. I don't want my big truck down forever. I need a lot of parts so I got a donor truck.. just happens to be a 94 f250 4x4 stick diesel ext cab regular box. IDI turbo.. lowish miles on the motor.. was a nice truck besides the cab and box. Ran greats, stopped good, good tires, working 4x4.... Before I go dt360 and FSO8406A I may do something quicker. So I think I will bolt in this diesel after I get it ready to max out that fuel injection pump... thinking custom turbo manifolds and a side mount hy35w with an extra external wastegate.. clean, paint, seals, tune timing, EGT, .. maybe headstuds and some minor porting on the heads and intake. Drop the compression ratio a little bit...

truck had new fenders that my truck needs.. as well as new cab corners not installed... it was like the deal on the truck was "made" for me $1300 + a mallory SBC distributor and edelbrock intake I had laying around..

Had a nice hide away 5th wheel hitch! great shape.. this one is rated for a lot of weight.. couldn't have been cheap....

 

got a full 6.0 powerstroke exhaust for 125.. will be ok for the new IDI exhaust.
