Default Cummins conversions

It seems like the conversions have slowed way way down and going on the Diesel Engine Conversion threads is just a waste of time anymore. When I joined this site there was atleast two or three conversions going on and it was interesting, now its just everyone asking dumb questions on conversions that they'll never do.

Lets see some pics of your conversion.

You must be looking at a different site.

We cater to all brands - not just Cummins conversions. A quick search shows several great conversions:

https://www.dieselbombers.com/diesel...9-cummins.html

https://www.dieselbombers.com/diesel...dodge-tin.html

https://www.dieselbombers.com/diesel...m617-swap.html

https://www.dieselbombers.com/diesel...0r4-np231.html

https://www.dieselbombers.com/diesel...onversion.html

And thats just on the first page of looking. What more do you want?

I have found such a wealth of information in this section it's mind boggling. I'm not one to go out and buy a conversion kit or hire someone to do a conversion for me. I love scrounging for parts and adapting them to a project.......this is what its all about.
I'm not currently doing a conversion but I have started to collect information and put feelers out for the needed parts to put a 6BT in my 02 F350 just from information that I've collected on this site and others. I'm currently working on a frame off restoration of my M37 that I hope to have completed by the summer of 2011. (See avatar)
To everyone in the Diesel Engine Conversions section that has shared valuable information.

I want to see a swap like baja bomber did, (his fummins) that was by far the most interesting swap on this site. I guess when I joined this site there would be more
like that - in depth. And when I do my conversion I will take lots of pics and try to put them on here.

This site is only as good as you guys make it. No one including the staff gets paid for any of this. Its ultimately up to the members to take the pics and share the technical information. That being said, Im not sure how the site is supposed to provide you with more interesting swaps. The content of swaps and threads about swaps is totally beyond the control of staff.

As I said at the start of this post (and this applys to every single forum and thread we have on this site) - this site is only as good as you guys make it - its up to you.

Instead of complaining - lets work to make the site better. Guys, please continue to share as much pics and info as you can. Obviously, a lot of people like to see this kind of info.
