Removing a cab 2004 F-150???
#11
well got mine lifted off on sun. no sweat lifting with backhoe and strap around bot of cab over midway of doors , did put small dent in door should have used a better spreader bar, also one small ratchet strap to the core-support. now just the simple task of ; yanking the 4.6 out and put bt and trans together, mock up weld and fab mounts, connect links, make drive-shaft, plumb a dozen things, and put the cab back on, fix dent I put in, wire, get gauges working, +++++. Wow, golf is looking better!? Well like my son says; we do it cause we like it dad. He's right. Most people look at guys like us and wonder. When I go to the parts store and ask for something like a pilot bearing for a cummins ford bread truck I usually get "man you got to much time on your hands" If you go in for anything out of the norm and they can't figure it out they get a little defensive. Seems like most guys just aren't as curious as we are.
