Default Dakota + 800 HP Commonrail

what all do you think would be needed right now i have the list to a dakota and a common rail . and i was thinking maybe a full tubular frame plan is for a daily driver/ strip use and defantly a few years off. would like somethign a lil lighter and handels a lil better

definatley a bigger tranny than the 42re or what ever tranny they put in them things

i was thinking a 48 re or allison and yes i know it will be shoehored in there that wouldent ever describe it

that sounds like it would be a sick truck. when i get older i wanna get a ol dakota and stuff a 440 six pack hemi in it.

Umm a 440 and a Hemi are 2 different motors.

Look up the banks sidewinder, they describe how they made their Cummins Dakota pretty much to the t. one thing i remember is to get an extended cab Dakota because the had to move everything from the firewall back, back twelve inches. And with a reg cab Dakota you cant fit in there without those twelve inches. I was going to do this as well a couple of years ago but didn't because i had a reg cab Dakota. They said in the write up it had a/c drove to the flats pulling its own trailer and got about 20 mpg. Then set the land speed record in its class.
