Default 59 Plymouth Belvedere Diesel swap?

Hello all, I would love to swap a veggie powered diesel into my 59 Plymouth Belvedere! Looking at a 4bt or a Mercedes diesel. The Mercedes seems like the easier swap wut chu guys think? Help.

Thanks,

Shannon

well first of all you better get the old measuring tape out and see how much room you have the Mercedes are not that much powerful stock the 4bt might be too tall you might want to look at a Isuzu 4le2t change governor springs and it would be a good engine with plenty of power down side is you will have to make all of your adapters or a Nissan rd28 there are several importers that bring those in they are a foreign diesel about he size of a slant six

they sound cool

i know its blasphemous, but a powerchoke would be a good consideration. well, technically not, since its actually an international motor. just get rid of any signs of the blue oval.
