[QUOTE=92_cummins_f250;606555]So does it draw from both tanks at the same time all the time then? Must work good but I would still be nervous about not having hard lines .
the dot brake line is petrolium rated so it wont eat away and with it supported to that stiff plate in the tank its vertually a cheap version of a draw straw, no it pulles out of 1 tank at a time its on a deverter valve from the factory in cab switch

I reused the Ford solenoid, just moved it to the drivers side of the engine bay. The Mitchell wiring diagram shows two "run" wires, one being gry-yel and the other being red-lt grn. The "start" wire is red-lt blu. The red-lt grn wire goes to the distributor, ign coil, EEC power relay and a couple other major running functions of the truck, the gry-yel only goes to the fuse panel and then to the heater function selector and OD switch. Can't remember now where I spliced into the red-lt grn wire though, cause I'm pretty sure that it goes through the power dist box too. Hope this helps, been quite a while since we wired mine and we didn't really document what we did. Let me know if I can try to help with anything else.

Um, that will take some memory and looking at the Mitchell book to see if I can remember. I do remember you need a different switch than the factory Ford OD switch in the column.
This shows the wiring for the factory A518 OD lockout

And this is how I wired the OD control

The OD control works good, but with 3.55s and 37" tires it shifts into OD a little sooner than I would like. I leave it out of OD in town anyways and then just throw the switch manually if I want it to hold out a little. This wiring is fairly straight forward if you can get the Ford side diagram too.

You should upload some pics of your conversion when you get a chance too!!
