I Have a friend who has a ford 550 6 speed thats 4 wheel drive and he is having to put a new engine in it and since i am a dodge fan i told him to putt a cummins in it and he told me that he had found a 750 cummins for sale that was like brand new. butt he was wanting to know if it would be a good idea to putt it in his ford adnd if he got it where he could get it put in and what would he have to do about his 4 wheel drive.

 

It's ALWAYS a good idea to put a Cummins in a Ford!

As for the 4wd, use a divorced transfercase...?
