Wiring harness? Are you going to put a 24v or CR in it?

Keep it simple and get a 12v because it lacks wiring.


Even if it is a 24v, its not that bad, the way I'm getting around it is by putting all the Dodge wiring harness in my Ford, along with the Dodge gauge cluster.

We just completed a 95 12v into a 97 Ford. Really not all that bad, but to get a truly seamless, factory looking install it takes time. We even revamped the stock fuse block to handle the Cummins and the relays for it.

if you have a 24v or common rail, as long as you have the COMPLETE factory engine harness and computer its not bad at all. you just plug everything in and put the computer it, and then all you need is to give the computer ground and power, hook up your wts and wif lights, check engine light, and plug in scanner port. its really not that bad. thats how i am going to do my next one. i cannot justify bit spending 1000 dollars on a painless wiring harness

Ouch! I only have about 40 dollars in total wiring harness off ebay!

i got a 10 dollar roll of solder in my swap. and one roll of red and one roll of black wire. thats it. the best part is everything is 100% color coded to the wiring diagrams for the trucks

never really got anywhere on it, i didnt have the money to do it. and i sold the truck
