Default 1995 Ford-Cummins 12 valve swap???

Im building a pulling truck an i am using a 95 cummins 12 valve moter. Im wondering what all i am looking at for swapping that into my 95 F250? The truck sits right now with the cab an a frame that has been stripped of everything, if anyone has suggestions or tips for what i have ahead of me in the next month or so.

Welcome to the site!

I did a 1990 1st Gen 12 valve in my 1993 F-250, and the only things I ran into were motor mounts and a custom lower coolant crossover pipe (because I used the stock Ford 7.3 IDI radiator). Other than mount, you really only have to worry about some very simple wiring....or maybe not considering that you are building a puller.

Destroked.com and Fordcummins.com will be your best friends if you aren't into fabbing everything yourself. They make direct drop in kits for pretty much any Cummins into just about any Ford. Check them out if you get a chance. I've dealt with the guys are Fordcummins.com (for a tach sensor kit) and they know just about every little tip and trick you could want and seem like some pretty good guys. So, like I said, if you aren't into fabbing everything up yourself, and have a little extra cash, check out one of their coversion kits.

Other than that, just set in in there where you want it, and start measuring...that's what I did. Granted, there are some things I look at now and wish I had done differently...and I will when I get ready to drop the 1994 P-pumped 12 valve in come springtime!!!

Great job on your truck 93Fummins. I want a 12 valve for mine as well. I'm in the research stage for this project. And I don't have any geech right at this moment so I have to wait for tax time. I appreciate you posting info and pics. If I need some pictures down the line, would you be willing to take and post a few? If so, thanks.

Looks like you've got mad skills, man. This the biggest project I've ever planned so I look forward to gaining new knowledge and learning new skills. Every new post that I look at where a swap is involved, I keep getting more inspiration for this swap. I'm doing it for me and my son. Check out my intro thread.

I dig the custom banner on the front windshield. I came up with an idea for mine when I do it. Instead of FoMoCo, I want to go with FoMoCummins.

That's got to be an awesome feeling driving around in that rig that you built with your own hands. Even better must be pulling up next to an older Ford like ours with a Powerstroke and knowing you have the Cummins. Just awesome!
