By chance did you build a rat rod with a cummins in it also? that area looks familiar.

And no I didn't build any rat rod, would love to though.

Just curious though; why did you go with the dodge radiator and intercooler? And why swap to a Dodge instrument panel?

I kept the big a$$ Ford radiator in mine and made custom coolant piping and it keeps the Cummins really cool...the fans hardly ever kick on going down the highway.
They came with the engine, free parts basically and I'm already on a tight enough budget, so I made them work. Swap to the Dodge instrument gauges is because its updated, the gauges will all work, plug and play, its a Dodge in Ford's clothing.

Plus the early 90 Ford gauges are mostly dummy lights and are ugly to boot.

Not yet, awaiting the NV5600, tcase, and full SBC setup to show up, along with the Airdog and an extra draw straw for the 2nd fuel tank. Still need to order up the SBC slave this week.

Price break down is slightly skewed because I got such kickazz deals...

2001 24v 100k miles, turbo, piping, rad, I/C, wiring, computers, mounts, hydroboost (sans starter) $1650.00
2001+ NV5600(25k miles) & BW 4401 t-case, SBC Con OFE setup $3000 shipped
Probably about $200 in metal when I'm finished (minus metal for traction links)
$45 under dash fuse block, dash wiring harness, and tranny harness (reverse lights)
$40 Dodge Ram gauge cluster
Airdog, draw straws, and SBC slave I cant comment on because I got special deals from Vendors here on the forum.

Still need to regear the rear axle, build new driveshafts, build link arms, short shifter, and put my 2nd gen Dodge Ram seats in it.

just as for the same as my project you cant really put a price tag on it. little things add up. things such as:
welding wire, welder gas, electrical connectors, fluids, nuts and bolts, metal here and there, little components that break or wear out, etc etc etc.

the list goes on. i thought i could do my swap for about 4000 since i payed 1500 for a complete truck. it ended up costin me over 10 grand because of stupid crap. you can never set a budget on a conversion project

They will not work unless you do custom work like I did. I had to cut out a notch in the frame and build the custom radiator support to make them work.

thanks for the price break down. Seems like you dont have as much as alot of people have wrapped up in there conversions. I plan on having alot in mine when I get the starting funds for it.
