I'll probably go with an after market Co. to build my mounts so it wont turn into a Four month install like the last one. Advanced Adapters makes a spud shaft to mate my nv4500 to a Borg Warner T Case.

Keep Smokin and Rolin

when I start mine I'll keep you posted

I built the front bumper and traction bars myself.

The front axle is actually a Dana 61 out of the donor '90 Dodge. The F-250 was actually a 2wd to begin with. I used the engine, tranny, t-case and front axle from the Dodge.

The tires are 38x14.50x17 BFG KM2's.

Here are some more pictures of the bumper and traction bars...

I'm looking to do the same thing you did, use the drivetrain from my 93 dodge dually 4x4. Is yours auto or getrag. Also wondering if the speedo and other gauges work. Nice job!

both of you got some good looking trucks...I hope my (6.4 or 6.7) depending on how the 6.7 does when it comes out, Bronco conversion looks as good as either of those trucks

Yes, it's a Getrag....for now. I'm looking at swapping in an NV4500, but I'm going the Getrag is still nice and tight, so I'm going to run it until it give up, if it does.

Yes, ALL the stock gauges work. I got a tach ring from fordcummins.com to make the factory Ford tach work, and the rear end is a Sterling similar to the one that was originally in the truck, so the ABS sensor still runs the speedo fine, although I need to look into a recalibration chip to adjust for the 38's. I also used all the 7.3 IDI engine sensors so the water temp and oil press still read correctly, even though I added another oil press gauge on the pillar because I never really trust the reading on the stock oil press gauge for those year model trucks.
