ISUZU NEEDS MORE POWER
Hi
Does any one know how to tune a mechanical injection pump to make more power.I've modified all the basics exept the pump.Its a zexel pump.Zexel is owned by bosh.
I've got an egt in and pistons are ceramic coated.
The engine is a 2.5 L 4 cycinder.Its got two turbos 1 small and 1 big pushing 26 psi.

Most mechanical fuel pump have a fuel adjument screw or diffrent fuel plates. I am not familiar with the pump you have, do you still have any paperwork from the pump that might help? Have you tried to go on the manufactures website to try to get info? GL

that one isnt gonna be like most of our mech pumps because most of the guys around here are used to the P-pump from bosh
I think some of the 1st gen cummins guys could be able to help though.
