that is a whole another dabate my friend but i gues it all depends on what you like.i know BMW makes means engines but availability and pricing is nowhere near mercedes that is for UNITED STATES anyways

Just decided to throw it out there...

Few diesels get to where the BMW M57B30T2 BiTurbo is....

3.0 liters 300hp and 660nm of torque with NO lag....

vlado i see you on the mb forum and im glad to see you here. i just got my 300d na yesterday with less then 100k on it. stock auto tranny and all other stuff ie mounts radator and all kinds of stuff. its going in my daily driver a dj5d i have had for 7 years. its 2wd and thats fine with me. i will post pics as i get them. and the boys that tell you to make the kit are on the money. after all the good things i hear about the 300d and all the people who are looking to make the swap. i dont see how you could lose. thank you for posting pics. , Nick

less than 100k that is great.my engine that went to my jeep was last titled at 325k but was rebuild les that 10000miles ago, still you have good engine and they do last for long time.i just had my injectors turned up and ill tell you that engine runs great and so far had not used a drop of oil.but anyways post the pics of your project and what is dj5d?
sorry for the ? but cant think of anything as dj5d

its a mail truck, it is a cj5 running gear and grill, fenders. am general from the fire wall back. im going to keep it two wheel drive as i dont off road anywhere but the beach and with 8 psi in the stock skinnys it never gets stuck. the thing i need you for is i dont know about the vacume and fuel stuff. think you can help?
