Did you need that much engine lean for it to work? Nice looking rig though, would be a blast.

The engine tilt is the factory Chevy adapter 10* tilt, (Who knows what the GM engineers were thinking) The tranny pan is level and when I change the oil the drain plug on the oil pad is the lowest point on the oil pan so I get every drop.

They tilted it for clearance on the "doghouse" and it also had to do something with the bell housing.

put in a set of POD's, a 3200 Gov spring, fuel pin and took second gear out of the transmission
Going to try and gather everything for a NV4500 setup in the mean time I'm going to blow up one more 700R4

Sorry for the Newb questions .... My son grenaded the 4.0L in my YJ so I am trying to find the best/easiest DIESEL replacement !!!

Is the 4L80e a better trans for this engine ???? What are the approximate horses you are puttin out with your engine mods and are they too much for the 4L80e ??? And what T-case did you use in your conversion ??? From the research I have done I understand the Dana 300 is a easy swap ( ie.. advance adapters makes the adapter from the 4L80e to Dana 300 ) ....

Did the engine you bought come with the adapter from 4bt to Turbo400/4L80e ???

BTW.... Your swap looks and sounds awesome !!!
