I have seen it done, but the front end had to be stretched almost a foot to fit the radiator and intercooler. I don't even want to think about what trans they used. It was in a mid 80's crewcab. There used to be a guy in Oklahoma City that did it. I think it was around $25,000 if you provided everything but the engine.

It's a 3208, not an ACERT C-15.... All the new emissions stuff has nothing to do with those old dinosaurs...IMO there are better engines to spend the time and money on for a swap..just my opinion though...

I changed a 3208 in an old ford truck a few months ago, pretty big engine, hard to tell if it would fit or not, but the C50 has a pretty big engine compartment. You would have to change the transmission probably. (You know you want an Eaton anyhow) It won't be cheap I bet, and I bet the front suspension on the C50 would have long-term trouble with the weight. Might work out though, the 3208 would pull a lot better than that 327, and be more efficient.
