Good news to report....

The house is all taken care off for the fall... snowblower oil changed and tuned up.... and my shop go cleaned and walls/floor washed.... its time to get them dirty again....

I finally got around to this weekend doing a complete mock so I can finally correctly locate the floor as I was considering having to channel it.... not the case..... I must have a measurement wrong somewhere in my notebook and my CAD stuff because it shouldn't have fit through the garage but.... to no avail.....

I needed to raise the floor up this much (approx. 1.03 beer cans)

I have this much room....... (approx 1.35 beer cans....)

Therefore....... were going to be good... I'll probably do a slight transmission tunnel and it will give me the last little bit of clearance I need tire and fender wise to be able to manuever and turn with the suspension in the down position without hitting the fenders with rubber.....

As she stands all slammed and tucked away.....

More updates to come as I finally awake from my Summer Slumber....

Being a Ford guy from back when that truck was new (soon as WW2 was over, my dad bought a new '46 Ford) I love this thread. You are creating an incredible project. Glad you have awakened from your summer slumber. Have a great autumn and may it be filled with pics of your progress. Best of luck!

Default 47 ford

That truck is absolutely the coolest!
I had what I thought was an original idea to put a 24valve in an old K5 that I have. looks like you beat me on the originality thing! Seeing your truck come together makes me anxious
to get going on mine!
Great Job!!
