ALOT MORE WORK AHEAD ......

Good by floor, goodbye firewall... good by radiator support and intercooler piping.....

Lotsa cutting required to get it to come down 4 " lower......

Its a shame that I think the CAC piping is going to have to go.....it looked sweet..... well see..... I might lower EVERYTHING to make it look similar but.... I'm out of hood space I think...

cab comes back off this week/weekend to weld up temporary support while I cut out the entire floor and firewall....

Well..... put in a few hours..... and went thru a few cutting wheels.......

lotsa floor work to do...

Stock firewall recess.....

We'll be opening it up just a bit (another inch or so) but the recess is pretty close considering flathead V8 vs. I-6....

Cobrahead exhaust did its job and then some..........

Full 10" slam up front and 8" slam out back

Best I can do without hitting garage door opening...............

sh*t...intercooler piping....gone...... radiator.. needs to be lowered 3 or 4 inches.......

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

who needs hoods..... right? ........... right?

P-pump barely clears.......

work hazard pay....

the air to air plumbing might look pretty cool kinda frenched into the front of the hood. just food for thought.

full mock complete..... cab is well.... exactly where it needs to be... (about time CAD paid off.... I was prob +/- 1/4" on placing the CAD via solidworks to where the wheel centered up in the fender in reality...noice!)

Now if only I could have seen how much radiator I'm about to loose...........

anywhoo... here are some cool pics........

quiet optimism.... (At this point I'm saying .... "good God... I think its going to fit.......)

it does it does!

after everything is squared up and centered a bit.....(suspension is slammed)

Seeing what the one stacker is gonna look like...

She's a baaaaad girl.....(at this point i'm finally glad I went with a long nose vs. a COE..... which I was starting to doubt when I cut into the floor so bad.... this made it worth it...)

Down.... (remember running board level will be at the bottom of the fender........so shell be low...)

And up she goes to check full life clearances......

slight optimism...theres room for rad and intercooler... not much.. but its there....

I was scared when the hood went on...

Tank clearance....plenty!

Standing tall and proud for the first time all together with her new motor and transmission, parallel 4 link out back, and new tank mounts....
