Hey guys,
First time posting! I am pretty sure I have read every post regarding the V2203 Platform, seems to be a popular swap for jeeps and rangers and I've even found the overland diesel site.
with that being said I'm looking for some general info I guess one could say. I have a V2203 DI and its going to be swapped into something different. I know these make 40ish @ 2800 but will they spin more(safely)? 3000-3200?
I also have found people removing timing plates and turning fuel screws to get a little more out of them. Is this Advisable if I'm looking more so for efficiency? I believe i read someone got a little better running engine and better MPG out of removing plates. also, is there a write up on doing so?
as in all my builds i will be adding the necessary gauges EGT RPM and so on to monitor.
Thanks
Mitch
