Got the down pipe done and I'm working on all the little stuff finishing the exhaust fuel lines heater core lines trans lines Ect. The exhaust isn't as close to the trany lines as it looks but going to build a heat shield any way

Nice work, that sounds really nice, and looks like no vibration problem

I got the intercooler done yesterday. And I got to drive it today Did a bunch of trial and error on adjusting the tv rod. First it was only 1st gear then it was 1-2-3 in one shift . After a bit fine tuning I got the shifts close. 1-2 is great 2-3 is a bit funky the 3-4 and 4-3 3-2 are all great. 2-3 will shift to early when going slow on side streets sometimes the it will hesitate getting on the freeway I'm sure a bit more fine tuning will take care of it.

Now on another note. The turbo is amazing!!! 15lbs boost pretty much off idle and 20 lbs really quick est 15-1600 rpm on the freeway at 65 if you roll into the throttle it will pull 30 lbs almost instantly without downshifting

Alright put some miles on it and I have it shifting great. I do have a bit of noise from my converter but will worry about that in a few days. I used the boost can from the original turbo to work my vnt and it works great. I filled up to the brim drove 97.8 miles and it only took 2.68 gallons!!! 36.49 mpg. I know its only 100 miles and that's not that accurate but I'm really happy about what I'm seeing so far. With the boost can I see 20psi spike then it settles in at 17psi I have yet to see over 1000 deg egt

Well I put 5-600 miles on it so far mpg seems to be staying in the 30-35 range. I've been using my gps to track miles but I'm not sure it is all that accurate (working on the speedo)I have taken it on a few small trips 1 150 mile round trip and 1 was 230 miles And a few small 30-40 mile drives. The power is great the egt wont go over 1000 still no smoke and it will run 80-85 great. It is running about 2250 at those speeds. 75 is best. I'm pulling the trans this week to figure out why I have a converter whine as well as fixing a oil leak in the front cover. Other than that I'm really liking the truck. You can really feel the tq pulling the hills and I'm impressed with the response of the turbo. Ill have some pics later in te week

Yep the trans is great. Took a little adjusting but it shifts great. I had a bit of converter whine and called the converter shop that built it. He's pretty sure he knows what the issue is but we'll find out tomorrow. I got everything pulled back apart today so I can work on getting the elec fan in tomorrow as well as the new powerstreering reservoir and clean up the wiring vacuum lines and get the crank pickup installed to I have tach and cruise control, hopefully this one is a bit more computerized than the ranger. It has abs and all the other goodies so I don't even have a speedo right now but Im pretty sure it should all come to life once I get that hooked up. And if your curious factory timing is 12.5 deg. On this one and my kubota was a 9 deg motor
