what accessory was in the spot that you removed, to enable you to trim the timing cover?
Did you get your crank adapter? Did it change / reduce the amount of bolts to hold it all together? Are you using any flywheel? Or just the flex plate and TC?

It was the aux hydraulic pump drive that i eliminated. My flywheel adaptor came today. It uses the. #10 clutch on my existing flywheel and mimics the crank of a small block ford. Name: imagejpg1_zps5cd182c4.jpg

Oil is primed and ready for daylight to run. I have 50psi oil pressure with just the starter!

So your stack will be the original diesel flywheel, crank adapter, flexplate, and then the TC?. And the crank adapter gives the small diameter side to the flexplate? and the large diameter bolts to the existing flywheel?
Do you have a picture of the stack?
My Kubota's oil pressure is dropping a bit after it is good and warmed up, but it does not seem to be using oil.
Funny during the day you can not see any smoke , but at night when someone's headlights are close behind me I can see smoke in my side mirror.
have fun with the test run

Unfortunately I will have to pull the injector lines and either strip and clear them or paint them black. The paint started to flake when I was working with them
