How's it goin people? Hey just wanted to see if any of you know if i can use my manual transmission VE style pump in my Excursion swap mated to the 4r100, or do i have to have the automatic version for the kick down?? Thanks for any input.

 

I don't think there is any difference in a auto or manual VE pump.

kick down will be controller by your stand along computer you will need to run the transmission if I am not mistaken.

 

yeah that's what i was thinking, just wanted to make sure. the kick down was only used back then due to the lack of electronics used in the automatic tranny of the dodge. thanks for the help!!
