maybe i missed it but did you run an electric lift pump between the tank and the stock pump on the engine ?.

I have duel tanks and was thinking that running a electric pump would help negate any fuel starvation when the tanks were switched .
Thoughts ?

I do not run a lift pump. A lift pump my be beneficial but it would have to be very low pressure.

Looking back now, what some of the things you know now that you wish you knew when you started?

Tough question. Most of what I've changed from the initial install has been documented here already, most notably the higher stall converter and smoothing out the 1-2 shift. Other than that it has been pretty great. There have been some on here with concerns regarding front oil sump running dry on steep inclines, but I can truly verify this is not an issue. I almost flipped it over backwards on an incline this weekend, kept it running the entire time while waiting for winch rescue with no oil pressure issues. My quest for more better is leading me to try a couple things. #1 try my luck at turning the pump up for more power. #2 install triple radiator fans and a PWM controller. This IDI makes lots of heat. #3 upgrade turbo to a small Holset and intercooler

Which Holset turbo are you looking at? I've been thinking about trying to get a turbo that will bring on the boost faster than the Garrett.

Holset HX30 or Hx30 . I've read very good things about this turbo, problem is finding one. I know they came on the 4bt.

Maybe I missed it, or perhaps it's intuitive to others, what did you do with the negative field driver wire for the alternator?
