First this is not intended to be a full on performance build I mean for it to be a drivable performance build .( the equivalent would be a 450 hp cummins or a 375 hp 7.3 Ect) taking the stock engine to its comfortable limits.

My point is this I want to build this engine to in max comfort point before parts start to scatter . I also don't have unlimited funds for this I'm open to any and all ideas but the outcome will be dependent on the budget realistically I'm hopeing for 150rwhp and 335 ft lbs

I have never looked inside a Kubota motor. If there is an oil gallery available to tap into, it still may work better to put a set of full time squirters on the bottoms of the pistons. The result would be better oiling on the cyl walls, cooler piston tops, and stronger rods. The down side would be oil pressure drop, more work, and higher cost. The International piston cooling jets may be too big for this smaller scale motor.

just curious how this is coming... does Kubota use a piston oiler on the v2003T?

a couple thoughts

Has anyone been measuring existing oil pressure on the v2203 and if so what are they running at? any way to increase oil pump volume easily/cheaply?

there are several turbocharged 4cyl engines that use oil squirter nozzles that could be a source for the part. ej22t, 4g63, B23FT etc

if no oil galleys are convenient you could fabricate a manifold to access one that is

it may be possible to drill the rods with a small angled hole to get oil pressure from the rod bearing area, if those are pressurized.

if the nozzles were sized correctly it's possible that there wouldn't be much pressure drop to the rest of the system. with a pop off style I believe that are oil pressure relative, would only start to oil above a certain rpm/pressure. that could help to keep oil pressure to the rest of the engine but wouldn't help as much at high load/low rpm scenarios.

if there are no good oil galleys to tap into, how about resorting to water injection for the lowered combustion temps? the side benefit of decreasing carbon buildup throughout the engine would be nice. probably easier to rig up than oil squirters too.

what kind of mods to the pump will be done?
