The slots are they to hand bend at home. I would be sendin them out as a flat sheet.

Thank you for the gas suggestion

I found just a little heat at the crease helps it bend like butter if you don't have a way to get the bend nice and tight.

That would help. They stay pretty tight also once they are formed a little work with a hammer can tighten everything up if you felt the need. As of now the stretch in material I have accounted for worked well with the hand folding

Thanks
Ken

I got a little time in welding. thought it would be fun to do it half MIG and half Tig and see how well I do and how easy it is to weld.

this is the Tig, I am not a welder, just for the hobby. I can make items stick together and grind to make it nice.

I don't think it is needed. Not really any difference in this or the breadloaf, but wouldn't hurt

Finished welding the pan this afternoon. I will post pictures tomorrow. Mig welded just fine, so anyone at home with a welder should have no problem. I am making another flange tomorrow also so hopefully have it completely done ground and painted soon.

Almost done. I need to make another flange and weld it up and then go back and ad some weld to my low spots and regrind. Its hard to grind the inside angle so I am just gong to lay another bead across with the Tig, more of a cosmetic thing.

I have about 1.5 hours into forming and weld up to this point.

Mig welded parts- not as pretty as the TIG but welded nice still.

Also another project I have been working on. An adapter to put the kubota into a tractor. Kinda funny but its going into a Bombadier J5 here is the first adapter. it is replacing a Chrysler 251 Flathead straight 6.
