Kubota v2203 into a jeep cherokee 2wd
not sure what is going wrong with the pictures this morning, I will try again later. I wish the pics would load, the orifice in the small hose bard is very small. Has anyone seen one of these carrier fuel filters?
hey Kubotaman or anyone with the Hitachi alternator/vac pump. I am looking for info on how to wire up the 3 connector Hitachi alternator/vac pump
any help or a wiring diagram would be appreciated
also I still can't upload any pics from the mange attachments section. Is anyone else having issues with that? The uploader just says upload failed

You can get the pigtail for the Alt. on EBAY. Dunno about the pics, haven't tried to load any recently.
Thanks Kubota man, I did get the pigtail from ebay I hope it delivers today. I just now figured out the main alt output stud, I was wondering how I was going to get 70 amps through one of the those little spade lugs.
Dang it I still can't get the pics to load

Well I started the Kubota in the jeep tonight. It was not that pretty, but at least I got some oil circulating. At the last minute I switched the vac and discharge ports on the alt/vac pump because I saw a picture that was opposite from what I thought was how mine should run. Well that was a big mistake, it caused a small oil blow out from the brake booster fitting. big mess.
There is a bigger problem. I thought I had all the electric hooked up as I wanted, but I must be missing something, I have no instruments at all, and not much if any alternator output.
So if there are any late model Cherokee guys out there that have some instrument suggestions knowledge, I am eager to learn.
On another good note, the accessory drives seem to be working well, and very important the Aircon is working. This jeep had not been run in about a year.
still can't do pictures, I guess I need to sort out a photobucket account

here is a shot of the accessory drive on the cherokee, and the passenger side engine/accessory mount. I am still at work, and barely have internet at all. I can't believe the pictures worked, with the super slow internet. here. I have more pics when I get home
I am picking up where I left off. I need to find out why the banjo fitting for the turbo oil drain is leaking. So I got the radiator installed and hooked up again. tomorrow morning I will have a good hot battery to make some test runs. Hopefully get most all the bugs worked out of the fwd engine area, then I can start on the oil pan mods.
Here is a pic of the accessories again and the turbo drain banjo fitting that DetroitDiesel was interested in
