Well, I converted it and loved driving it. Was needing the TPS and Power steering pump to finish it. Well I guess the Cummins was too much for the Ford Tranny. I am either going to sell it or swap to the 6 speed manual tranny. Any ideas? I bought the adapter plates from Destroked.com and the PCS tranny controller. I was forced to drive it before I was completely finished with it. It's an Extended cab 4x4 nice looking truck. I am considering selling the whole thing for $6500 or selling the motor and adapter plates and buying a salvage Dodge and do a complete motor tranny and t-case swap. I am on my own with this one, most of the mechanics around here are either way too expensive or are less than excellent at their jobs. So I am kind of at my wits end

 

If I were you, Id go with the 6-speed tranny and keep that beast. Any pics?? Ya got the best of both worlds there IMO. Address the tranny issue and youre good to go.

That's what I want to do!! Main prob is, I just bought these adapter plates and controller for the tranny I have tied up $3k in just that and hate to trash them. But I don't know if I could sell them either. Kind of a specific market for this stuff and I burned my bridge with the local hot rod diesel shop when I called him an idiot and told him to go back to working on Tonka Toys!!

 

Whoops!! Been there, done that! I dont tolerate incompetence very well, and Im quite vocal about it. I can certainly relate bro. Try ebay or craigslist or this site. Ya might get a bite. Got any pics of that beast! You have what Id like to put together.

 

I do have pics. But I am on my phone. I could take some and text them to you. PM me your number. I would take $6500 for the Truck the way it sits. Somebody could fix the tranny and finish the rest of it and have the build complete for $10k easy. 662-216-0871 is my number. The truck is in excellent shape. I swear it is not a beater at all!!!
