Extra fuel comes from ALDA delete. No ALDA the boost requirements are above the stock 9psi and are estimated to be about 12-14psi, above this the turbo really loses efficiency and just starts to heat soak, EGT's go down and pre turbo temp goes up. It is said that these little turbos will put out 20psi easy and that rods like to bend at about 28psi.

My personal experience with 12psi is better mileage, smoother acceleration and it got rid of the annoying down shift Into third when accelerating quickly also cruises at 70 with less effort. Feels like about 5hp increase to me.

My EGT's don't go past 1150 and rarely above 1050. I get 0 black smoke without the ALDA
