1991 Ranger 4x4 with v2203

Hey gaines 12, Wyoranch, usedkubotaman, thanks for the info, trial & error because it makes it a whole lot easier on those who fallow. I think a kit is a great idea and I would be intrested in getting some components from you. I'm using a V2203 M-ES which I think is a tier 4 emission engine/ N.A. I bought a '94 4x4 ranger extra cab 'cause I could for see to many clearance issues with my original plan of using a toy T100. At 6000 lb.gvw auto trans.computer issues, trans & driveline mods. I.F.S.and steering clearance issues to name a few. I had to bail especially after hearing the sucess stories with the rangers and S10's. So I'm sure its not easy and no two are the same but the front clip is off and there's only one bolt left on the bell housing then the 4.0 gas guzzler is going to the bone yard.

Well im working on putting things together, but its gunna be a year or two before I have all parts together however I can get some parts made and sold on an individual bases now. Im working with the Kubota dealer out of California as far as parts source, also im going to buy another motor good or bad I don't really care, and im going to put it in one vehicle and make a setup that works then into another vehicle and so on so forth till I decide im done. But hopefully ill have a lot of options in a lot of vehicles. Ive got a lot of the tools and a lot of designs that are already done, and im working on making new ones everyday down here in school. So we will see how it goes! If you need an adapter let me know, Ive got some for the 4.0 transmission already.

I have had good luck with my local kubota tractor dealer 0n warenty replacement or just coustomer request pull out engines. There is usually a story on what happened and why they replaced the engine. The mechanic has a pretty good bone yard mostly V-3300 36OO AND 3800 . I scored a V-3300 T for $900. 'cause the turbo failed and it was black stacking. The customer wanted to change the engine anyway. The turbo kit cost me 50. bucks and I'm good to go. That ones going in the motor home along with a 2 speed rear if I can find one. I can see what AAron has down there and how much they want for them If you would like. Try checking with your Bobcat or Kubota tractor shops.

Havent been on here in a while, but im switching turbos to the K03-005 like Rangmar and I started rebuilding it today. Its a very simple task, took 20 min to tear down I have to take the parts to work tonight to clean them and then we will reassemble them in the morning. I will post pictures of the new adapter as well when they are done. We are making 6 so we will have 4 extras for sale. Also we now are going to machine flywheels for people and have one tranny adapter left for sale but can make more! Heres some pictures of the turbo and the tranny adapter

V2203 turbo
Hey Gaines 12, yea turbos are pretty easy to rebuild I just ordered a replacement turbo for my wifes '99 saab 9-3 cause the price was so good well... they said it was the right turbo but I couldn't even use the cartrage the compression wheel and driven wheel was even deifferent. Shipping to Hawaii is costly and they gave me a big discount for screwing up I kept it 'cause I was thinking maybe it would work on the kubota its a T25 for a gas 2.0 ltr. So if there are any turbo guiniouses out there let me know it is designed to work with a intercooler. Do you think you will be cranking out any adapter plates that will work with the the m-series kubota tractor motors? I'd be down for one if you do. Just a thought, SAAB made a diesel begining in '99 wish I had one but the gas eng. gets 30 mpg and hauls A.. with the turbo. Good luck with your projects !
