hey all, I'm new around here and did not quite fine what i need in the search bar.
in my 1993 Cummins into 70 Gmc project, I want to run a fuel tank in the bed. do I need to run a electric fuel pump if I set the tank up to gravity feed, (as in will the mechanical pump be able to feed the FI pump)? If not what pump should I run?
I would like to upgrade later on to something like a airdog.but for now this project is eating the cash about as fast as I can make it.

after replacing 3 stock lift pumps I went to this

New 140 GPH Electric Fuel Pump | eBay

works great keep in mind you want to put a screen in before the pump as it is a gear pump and you don't want anything to get into the gears

oh and the best part about this pump is when changing filters you don't have to fill the filter just crack the line on pump turn key and wait a little bit when air is all gone tighten bolt and start
