Alrighty lots of guys with converted trucks! Let's see some pictures! I'll start with my forever on going project. I've been half *** rambling about selling it due to personal finances. It then again I am thinking things are turning around sooo hopefully I'll keep it and finish it. Chevy Cummins Conversions, Check In Here-imageuploadedbytapatalk1352043385.453340.jpg

It's a 4bt in my 1/2 ton burb. If I keep going with it. It will end up as a 4 door stepside with a dump bed.

I have plenty of room, but also have a body lift to help out. I will likely someday take out the body lift (the lift was already installed when I purchased the truck), but with other vehicle projects around, the truck will likely stay as it is for some time. It drives great as it is, so why mess with it.

i have a stock big four core radiator in my truck from the factory and it actually rubs the tanks on the intercooler inlet and out let. im just worried if it expands at all with wise when hot as it may crack.

Default frame/front end

That front end and frame will hold the cummins e z. in the 88-98 chevy run the frames in the 1500/2500/3500 were basically the same. just a little different suspension. if you have trubble with the front end just put one from a 2500 on it. it should bolt right up.

Default 94 12V into a 55 Chevy Big Window

I have a wrecked '94 Ram with a healthy 12-V and a fresh transmission. Just bought a '99 Ram 2500 and stripped it down to the frame. Now preparing the frame to accept a '55 Chevy truck body. This ought to be fun! But if I can get a daily driver with the climate control, and ride/steering/stopping of a '99, and power/performance/reliability of the old 12-V Cummins , and the sex appeal of the 55 Big Window I'll be golden.
Frame has to be shortened 23 inches, may even have to narrow it. If I narrow the frame, I may have to narrow the rear end. No telling what I'll get into with steering column, pedals, gauges, etc. Probably a 2 year project. Then I'll have a Dodge powered Chevy to pull my Chevy powered Mustang to the track.
