Did you check volume from output to determine that? Just curious how you.went about it.

I have read somewhere that you can unplug the FCA and it it starts then it is bad. However, I don't know this to be a fact.
This is correct, if you unplug the fca it sets desired rail pressure to max even at idle you should see approximately 20k+ psi on the FRP sensor.

What was your determining factor that it is the pump, did you do all the volume test?
