For the last 2 weeks I have a problem with my AirDog, it blow fuse two time. I inspect the wiring and I replaced the filter and the water separator but it blow a fuse again today. My AirDog is about one year old, my truck is a 2004. The fuse is a 20 AMP did I should put a stonger one, I have no idea what is the problem..... any idea.

 

Its possible the motor is bad that will cause it to blow fuses What does it sound like healthy or screechy

 

No idea about the pump- but the 20A fuse is already a big sucker. Do not replace it with a bigger one! 20A x 12V equals 240W - there is going something wrong if this fuse blows!

Remove the pump and test it! I'm sure there is a minimum flow per minute comparision chart.

 

I will do that tomorow, remove the pump from the truck and try it. The pump dont give any sign of a problem..

 

I open the pump and it's all toasted inside, I call AirDog and they are sending me a new pump on waranty. Good service from AirDog.
