i have a 1994 4x4 6.5l turbo diesel..right above the oil filter there are lines running into the block..one of them is pouring oil..i have a guess that it is the fitting where the quick disconnect oil line runs into...does anybody know the name of that fitting!!!! its a nut on one end that connects to the oil line and the other end is a threaded bolt that screws into the block im guessing.

I don't know what GM calls them but they are a quick disconnect and swivel for the oil cooler lines. they have a habit of wearing and leaking like that.The last one I worked on I had to get the fittings and hoses from Chevrolet.

 

Yeah the part came in today and I believe I got her fixed...at idle is the oil psi supposed to be around 25-30???thanks
