How can I get more towing hp out of this truck

 

Put a Cummins in it..6.5 wasn't made for power only mild towing and fuel economy. Yea there is cheapo ripoff aftermarket 6.5 gogo speed parts but they won't do **** and I'm sure someone on here will disagree but they are such high compression engines you can't do anything with them performance wise unless you install marine pistons. I suggest do intake and exhaust and rock it out...or sell it and buy something else if its power and speed your after...

 

It's not a huge powerhouse but there's plenty you can do to get plenty more power out of it. Exhaust, intake, tuning, turbo, fuel, and gauges just to get you started. Do some searching on Dieselplace .com for more info. Search the 6.5 vendors online, stay away from ssdiesel supply. I'd be glad to help all I can with anything you need help with.

 

I changed the exhaust already to 4" havnt done cross over
