hey guys i just recently bought a 01 truck with a 40 20 40 seat and i fliped the center arm rest up for 3 ppl to sit in the front and now when i try to pull it back down it like locks. on my other dodge it did once in a while but if i jarred it a lil bit by going forward and back it would unlock. so do any of u kno what its locking on and how to get it to unlock? cuz i hate not having a arm rest while driving

 

I have a 99. The only time it got (stuck) was when I flipped it up and jammed a belt on the right side. But that only made it hard to move. It didn't lock. I'm at a loss. Hope someone else has had this happen...

 

Ive never heard of this either....it wont budge at all?

 

Mine will get stuck from time to time but I just have to keep moving it. My husband 97 p-stroke gets stuck everytime you push it up. I know a powerstroke is different but on his there is a little piece that gets stuck on the side (where the plastic cover is to cover up all the stuff that makes the console move up and down. I would check there, use your keys or even a flat head to push in on different things while pulling on the console at the same time
