Ok I replaced my pump because I was having hard/ no start issue when it got warm. My truck has 237k on it and never replaced the pump. I replaced the vp44, lift pump, fuel filter, cam positioning sensor and crank positioning sensor while I had the truck down. Bled everything down properly from fuel filter, to pump to injector lines etc..Truck fired right up drove it around for a couple hours, then it just died and threw the p1688 code and will not start at all. I cracked an injector and supply line to injector pump, it's getting plenty of fuel and was spraying out. I am at a loss and ready to light my truck on fire!!!!!! specs of my truck are below

It could be other things but a detailed diagnoses would lead you in the right direction. Just because a pump is new dosent mean it can't fail
In the same respect a code isn't a sure fire way to diagnoses the pump.
