My truck was running fine till the two wires going into the vp44 shorted out due to a wire tap for an edge comp. Now the truck wont start. There is no power to the vp44 or the lift pump. I bumped the key 3 times to get codes but it reads NO BUS. I ran the VP44 stand alone bypassing all the computers and the truck STARTED. So now I'm thinking its the PCM. Anyone have any ideas? I gotta get this thing running ASAP. Is there any way to test the PCM?

 

I took the ecm off to get part numbers to see if I could locate a used one and then reconnected it and the truck started, but now its throwing codes. P 1693 and ECU 0237,0238,1475. Im thinking its a bad ground or bad connection somewhere. Where should I start?
