Default My Buddies 04.5 Cummins

Last night my buddies 04.5 died on his way home he said it shut off like you turned the key off. while it was coasting down he was able to re-start it but it only ran for a few seconds then the same thing happened. He did the key trick to show codes and he said he got P0628 p3206 p267 p1932. He said one of the codes had squigly looking line displayed with it I don't know which code. He plugged his bully dog triple dog in and it only showed the P0628 code which is for fuel pump low voltage. His truck is a 04.5 dodge cummins with a 6 speed. Anybody have any Ideas on the other three codes. Thanks In Advance guys and gals.

Come on guys. I don't know common rails like some of you do.... lets see if we can figure this out.

will it still fire up and run for a few seconds and then shut off each time?

Update... His lift pump has died. After trying to check for low voltage at the pump module(p0628) on the tank, and discovering there was none. This was because on the 04.5's there was no intank pump even though the wirings there, and after chasing this deadend wire to nowhere, then realizing the lift pump on an 04.5 is located on the back of the filter housing instead of the in the tank module. We tapped on it with a hard object(ratchet) and got it to come alive for about 10-15 seconds before it died again. I guess in 05 dodge made the switch to the intank pump even though an 04.5 has the same wiring connection as an 05 and 06(its nice to have other trucks around to look at) I posted this mistake of ours so that maybe it will prevent someone else from wasting time like we did. Also we still don't have any idea's on the other three codes. The p267 was actually p26?Y only the Y was on its side with larger end pointing towards the p26?. and these codes were displayed on the bully dog not the dash like I Had said earlier. The only one on the dash was the P0628. So after all this he ordered an Air Dog 150 kit.

update...X2 Got the Air Dog 150 installed today truck runs again!!! It took us about 4 hours to get everything done. Very easy install, great kit, and I like the fact that the filters don't hang below the frame rails on the air dog kit. I want one of these for my 06. We still don't why or what the other three codes are, I'm thinking they might have something to do with the aftermarket stereo, who knows.
