Some more info would really help us out...

How many miles?

Do you have access to an Auto Enginuity scanner?

240000miles and no, I don't have access to an Auto Enginuity scanner. Everything on the truck is original. The only thing I changed was the alternator.

Without a scanner, it's going to be a tough thing to diagnose.

You need to get it running and check fuel pressure... Also, before you start it, check the oil level in the HPOP reservoir. Then after it dies, check it again. Make sure your oil level in the crankcase is full.

If all those are in good shape, It could be uvch's or injectors...

take the fuel pressure regulator off and clean out the little wire mesh screen.
