2005 Duramax limp mode no codes

Like so many others when I try to accelerate it stalls a bit and then goes into engine limp mode. Changed fuel filter, air filter no luck. Running edge chip, cold air intake, 4" stainless exhaust. It seems to be worse when the engine is hot. Had the codes checked "no codes" but it really feels like it is needing fuel
