assuming that you have a scanner ,if the code keeps coming back after you clear it, could be a park/ neutral safety switch problem ,becouse this code will only set if vehicle speed sensor is reading more than 16mph and the output shaft is turning less than 60 rpms for more than 3 secs when off park.
.
1.- look for a p/n switch code first . might be in the transmission category in your scanner .

2.- support the truck in the air and put in first gear let it roll must be below 16 mph
check the speed sensor data and wiggle the wires and check if you have a reading drop.

3.-you will need a diagram ( if not you can ask me for one) follow the speed sensor wires to the computer ,disconnect speed sensor conector and read the resistance at the connector , connect it back and read the resistance at the computer connector , if theyre close the same wiggle the wires and see if theres a change in the reading. i have fixed a lot of cars with induction sensor probles , if you are running high load power cables or wrapped along the speed sensor wires it can disrupt the reading even if not touching them.

hope it helps.

Sunday morning and you guys are going to keep me busy.
1st I will reset my APPS (easy job). then I will clean the IAT sensir (thanks for the photo).
Question time
When I check the wiring for the wheel speed sensor, I am unsure what a p/n switch code is. And yes I have an autozone scanner.
Befor I forget
Happy Holidays everybody

Follow up
After resetting the APPS, cleaning the IAT sensor, and replacing the wheel speed sensor, I gave up and took it to the shop. $150 later I was told it was the vehicle speed sensor (VSS). Learned something new. Hope the next person that reads this and learns from my problem.
